Coachella - “TRASHed”
Coachella holds an annual art competition known as TRASHed Coachella that encourages attendees to recycle while being creative. Out of thousands of entries, I was one of 50 artists chosen to participate. Each artist creates a one-of-a-kind recycling bin that is displayed at Coachella as well as a gallery show in Los Angeles.

Original design inspired by artist Tame Impala’s third studio album “Currents”.
The organic and geometric elements add a visual contrast that is harmonious with the original album art on the lid. This subject inspired me as it was the band’s debut as a headliner for the festival.
